Flow

Flush, full height and beautiful

Our top of the range cubicle system Flow, shown here in antibacterial glass with our solid surface trough, is as functional, as it is beautiful.

Full height for maximum privacy, Flow can be used across all three needs; WC, changing and shower cubicles. The system has a patented emergency access method, which allows access by third parties, should this be required.

The last word in elegance, all Flow doors close slowly to a flush finish due to the patented hydraulic closer with doors that are 42mm thick with hand lipped rebates. Stainless steel, or antibacterial copper fittings complete the system and have been designed to allow less able bodied users to gain safe access and egress. Flow is also fully compliant with the Equality Act 2010.

Flow can be supplied in varying heights in accordance with the specification, with a maximum height of 2700mm. Each system can be designed in line with the Building Regulations Approved Document M 2004 Edition, and the relating accessories supplied as part of range.

Available in antibacterial glass, standard glass, antibacterial high pressure laminate and our new nanotech surface.

Nanotech surfaces provide low light reflectivity, are extremely opaque, anti-fingerprint and feature a very pleasant soft touch. The material also withstands impacts, acid-based solvents and household reagents, and can significantly reduce the bacterial load, making the surface both hygienic and easy to clean. It is also liquid repellent and mould-proof, so perfect for your healthcare requirements.

GLASS

42mm finished thickness consisting of a 29mm ultra lightweight MDF core sourced from sustainable forests, faced in high pressure laminate, then rebated and hand-lipped, to accept 5mm low-iron back painted toughened glass to both faces.

Available in standard finish, can be upgraded to antibacterial finish by applying silver ion to the upper layers of the material; when it comes into contact with bacteria, the silver blocks their metabolism and/or disrupts their cell-division mechanism and in so doing, destroys them.

HPL

42mm finished thickness consisting of a 40mm ultra lightweight MDF core sourced from sustainable forests, rebated first, hand-lipped and faced with HPL.

Available with antibacterial coating, incorporated into the laminate during the production process.

Icon

stunning aluminium framed system

Icon is our mid-range cubicle option and can be used for all applications, including toilet, shower, and changing facilities.

The design is a perfect marriage of elegance and smart thinking. Icon’s clean lines are only made possible through its intelligent details, which includes an engineered aluminium pivot system, Equality Act 2010 compliant hardware in either aluminium or antibacterial copper, with a 27mm thick self-closing door.

Shown here in white antibacterial compact grade laminate, the product is also available in antibacterial high pressure laminate.

Our shower systems are specifically designed for easy clean, reducing the time required to maintain high standards. To prevent the spread of bacteria through contact, we use copper hardware which is known to kill 99.9% of bacteria instantly. Installed in conjunction with our wall panel systems, the products can significantly reduce the risk of HAIs in the showering area.

polo

value engineered perfection

Changing areas are an important element of healthcare design and are frequently used by staff and patients. Our Polo system is value engineered perfection. Our most cost effective cubicle still has the standard Thrislington features that other cubicles in its price range can only dream about.

The system is available with antibacterial copper or our own “Medilac” which is a new, hard wearing, patent-pending powder coating, that contains silver ion technology. This impedes the growth and migration of potentially harmful bacteria, mould, fungi, algae and more, reducing the risk of cross-contamination from surface to surface. Especially suitable where stringent hygiene standards are required, the coating can remain active for up to 10 years. The door and dividing material can be antibacterial compact grade or high pressure laminate surfaces, to further ensure the reduction of HAIs.

While nearly half of the surfaces in healthcare facilities are soft surfaces, such as privacy curtains, soft surface contamination is often overlooked. Studies have shown that bacteria, viruses, and fungi can all thrive on soft surfaces, such as shower curtains for extended periods of time and contribute to the transmission of microorganisms. Manufactured in accordance with HTM 64 and confirming to the Equality Act 2010, all of our toilet and shower cubicle systems offer an optimum solution, with no soft surfaces, for healthcare environments.
